A Mini Vacation From Stress – Yoga on the Mat!

I first came into Yoga as a way to bring myself, a few moments of peace. Becoming centered, grounded, and present, focusing on my breath, focusing on my body. Then breathing some more, moving, linking my breath with movement, bringing my mind and body totally into the present. Then with the awareness of the moment I was in, and lack of the awareness of everything else,  I was able to bring myself to a place of stillness in my mind and body.  I was able to sit with peace, and then focus my thoughts on all that I had to be grateful for.  Mini Vacations is what it felt like. A retreat just for myself. Filling my day with positive thoughts all day long.  With yoga practice we find these moments.

Live with Peace.

Here to Love – Here to Live

I believe that we are here to love ourselves and others, and, to reach our full potential. Life is working for us. Sometimes people will be riding next to us for a while. Sometimes they just cross our path for a moment, and sometimes they are with us for a time. No judgements, at any level, should be made, as to why, or who, or what is happening. It doesn’t matter what anyone else has or what anyone else is doing. Our focus is on our self, our life. Being the very best that we can be, at any moment.  We should look at the problems, as not problems or tests, but as life guiding us to where we need to be, with excitement of whats to come next. Natures way of clearing out all that doesn’t serve us. Focusing instead to the millions of things that we have to be grateful for right now in this moment… I have breath, I have life, I’m sitting on a soft chair, I just ate a warm breakfast, etc, etc,… in this moment, most of us are more than fine. Focus on what you have, what your grateful for, focus on loving yourself, being kind to yourself, and being kind and loving others. No judgements – Be yourself, happily follow your path, see what comes your way. Have the belief that it’s all in your best interest. Relax and go with the flow.

I’m off to YOGA – yay!

Who We Are…

Who we are in this world that is constantly changing, is so important. But its not in the notoriety of achievement or the attainment of goods, or any other ego driven set of importance. Who we are to ourselves, and how we treat others, is what’s really important. No matter what we do – it’s how we do it. Speaking and living from our truth, our true nature, then doing our best, no matter where we are, no matter what were doing.

We’re all equally valuable, just as we are, with all of our unique qualities. And if we can learn to live from this perspective, from this contentment, of doing our best with what we have at all times, knowing that we’re all equally important in this world in whatever function that we’re doing. Then the ego goes away, and we really have no wants. Everyone is important. Everyone is special. Everyone is needed.
