I, admittedly, have been guilty of the crippling feelings of desperation in my life. The really scary part is that we seem to go through life, with blinders in place in all areas of our lives, focusing on only what it is [...] Aristotle says that without desire the world would die of inertia. Eastern Religions believe that our perfect peace comes from wanting nothing, and I believe, in my Golidlocks way, both to be true. As I see it, when we acquire more things, or reach our goals, or find our love, our desires tend to rise [...] Some things are in our control and others are not. In our control are our thoughts; pursuits, desires, opinions, etc. Which include deciding what our purpose is, and/or, what we want it to be. Also, in our control, are our actions.
