My response was to remind her that every moment is a new beginning if we want it to be. We can take a moment however, if we need to sit quiet. If that is what our bodies and souls need. That may be our new beginning – the contemplation, instead of the reaction. Do what feels right to you. Nurture yourself as you would a child. Love yourself, and when you are ready, begin…

Having a perfect life in a perfect world…
Every morning I write a paragraph of all of things that I am grateful for, and for the feeling of having everything that I want. I have been doing this for about a year. Slowly I noticed that I have made some changes, and that I do have the life now that I want. I envisioned being happy. Having a great love. The discipline to exercise more. A great social life, and time to spend with my family and friends. Traveling more, and of loving the work that I do. And, I am living that life. I am writing, which is the work that I want to do. I am traveling and have been to California twice, Maine, North Carolina and Florida. I am making plans for more travel as soon as I get all my affairs in order. I realize that I do have people around me that love me, and my relationships have gotten stronger. In my quest to be healthier, and to spend more time in nature, and I am walking three days a week with a friend and then going on a long hike on Saturdays with my daughter exploring different places every week. I realized that I am living the life that I want already. It may not be as glamourous as I had imagined in my mine, yet, but, I am doing all the things that I wanted to do. I have peace in my mind when I go to bed, and I am happy now. I am grateful for the roof over my head, and the warm bed that I sleep in. I have a deep belief that I will continue to have all that I want, and my life will only get better.
Take a deep breath, look around – appreciate what you have…

You are imperfectly perfect. Despite your flaws, there is a person out there that can know you and love you for exactly who you are. This may or may not be a “soul mate”, as described by many, but a real life imperfectly perfect person who sees you and loves you, not in spite, but because of who you are. Letting go of perfect and wanting to know each other for exactly who you are. That is the art of loving.

Today I had a meeting with my CPA, and I forget how it came up, but I asked him how old he was when he got married. He said he was 19 and his wife was 16. He had gone off to college and was driving home every weekend when her parents decided to get a divorce and move to a different state. They knew that they could not handle being apart, and laughing now, he said, “then I didn’t understand why her parents could not see my potential. I was in school and the lead guide for a white water rafting company.” The parents dealing with there own drama gave permission, and him and his new bride made there own plan for success. He worked nights and went to school days. It took him 8 years to complete his degree. It was tough on them both, but they did it. He says he could not of picked a better partner in life, and they have been happily married for over twenty years.
Love is all around.

CRUSH IT! WHY NOW IS THE TIME TO CASH IN ON YOUR PASSION, By Gary Vaynerchuck. This is my latest reading, and I think by the title and my previous postings on my blog you understand why I picked up this book.

It means when you get up for work in the morning, every single morning, you are pumped because you get to talk about or work with or do the things that interests you most in the world. You don’t live for vacations because you don’t need a break from what you are doing–working, playing, and relaxing are one in the same…”
What a perfect Goldilocks thing to say-on how to have and live your perfect life. Gary is a straight shooter, and a successful self made man. This is a must read for anyone wanting to expand their business period! He however emphasizes the importance of being in a business that your passionate about, and that is where, I know, you will find your true success.
