How easy is it to take for granted some of life’s most simple pleasures.  Focusing our attention on our list of things that need to be done.  Sometimes we’re so focused on what we feel we need to do, we forget to look up to see, the opportunity for a conversation with our child, an unexpected lunch with our spouse, or the chance to visit with a friend.

What will be most important to us in the future, will be to have the people we love, to be around us.  Money, fame, and the like will be nothing, if you have no one to share it with.

Lets find a way to enjoy all moments, finding joy in what we do.  This is life, this is our life, let’s choose to live it well.

Life IS Beautiful

Sure my blog is full of idealism, seeing the world full of happy, joyous people, living their life with passion. I continually spew words of love and faith, in the hope to that you will see it too.   I realize the five o’clock news, and your life may tell you a different story, but where does that get you… 

Nothing says that you can’t see the world as wonderful as you want it to be.  Nothing says you can’t believe that everything is getting better, moment by moment, day by day. The more you focus on whats good in your life, the easier it gets. I mean, Do you want to be happy? Then, where is your focus?

Miracles ARE around us everywhere, simply with the blue sky, spring flowers, old friends laughing, musicians playing, and much, much more. If you look – you will see life as truly being beautiful.

I write to help put yours/my attention on this big beautiful world that we live in. That’s what I do here on this blog. That’s where I want my focus. You get to decide where to put your intention… What world do you want to see? What world do you want to live in?

The Beauty Within

“There is beauty to be found everywhere” thats what the guide in the desert of Chile said. “Wherever you go, you can find beauty.  Here in the forest of cactus you see flowers and cactus so large that you are amazed when you see them.  From afar your perspective is off, you will see when you get close.”  It was true, from a distance all I could see was desert with a few cacti here and there spread over the hills, but the closer and deeper I walked into the forest the denser and larger the cacti appeared.  The pathway led us next to a stream, which flowed into a valley where flowers bloomed , and foliage thrived. The guide was right, it was so much better than I expected…

I think everything in our life – people, places, and even our perceptions about ourselves and others from a distance, can look like a vast desert, with only spots of slow growth here and there. When in reality if we would step deeper, we would find that there is actually so much more to see.

Find the beauty within.
