Mood – Very Good

The thing with pretending your in a good mood is that sometimes you can. – Charles de Lint

Generally these days, I’m in a very good mood. Life has been very kind to me of late, but years ago it started with me pretending to be in a good mood first.

On a daily basis we all have the opportunity to choose how we react. With our words an actions, we can escalate or de-escalate problems, make someone feel joy or sorrow, or  we can inspire versus humiliate. We actually do choose.

Our choice to feel happy, and act with our good mood, is love. And, by allowing your good mood to be so, it begins to change form. We begin to change, and we begin to feel better, and the love we share – comes back to us.

Living Life

Live with no regrets, meaning always do your best, always be your best. And, on any given day, our best may be sub par, but if on that day that’s the best we can do, then that’s the best we can do.  Always be kind, gentle, and understanding, to others and to YOURSELF. Live life nurturing whats important – people and YOURSELF.  Live your life with the thought, that everything in the end, will work out for the best. Follow what feels right to you. Follow what brings you joy, and love, and bliss.  Follow your dreams, because it’s your life.  -Live the life that makes you happy.

Surrounded By Good

An old Cherokee Legend that says there’s a battle of two wolves inside us all. One wolf is evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, arrogance, self pity, resentment, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, generosity, truth, compassion. The wolf that wins? Is the one you feed.

I’m glad your reading my blog it’s a great way to feed the good wolf 😉  filling your mind with positive thoughts. Practicing Yoga, is another.  One of the distinct qualities of yoga is that it helps us to become more self aware. It gives us the opportunity for self study; bearing witness to our thoughts, feeling, emotions, and sensations in our bodies. After time and practice we begin to notice that we have moments where we are no longer just reacting to things, but bearing witness to those things as well and consciously responding, instead of mindlessly reacting. Helping us get clearer on what we value in our lives, like feeding our body, soul, and mind; with joy, love, peace, kindness, and all the good that we can surround ourselves with.

Surrounding you today with Love,
