Be True

Realizing that the moment were in right now, that we have everything – we are alive. Any ego driven achievement or non achievement is just an illusion of our ego. The world is constantly changing, so the notoriety of achievement or attainment is false.  Who we are to ourselves and others is what’s important. No matter what we do – it’s how we do it – with love, and with authenticity. Without the ego we’re all equally valuable, just as we are, with all of our unique qualities. From this contentment we really have no wants. We are who we are, and at this moment we are more than fine.

Path of Least Resistance

He who lives in harmony with himself lives in harmony with the universe.  Marcus Aurelius

Nature does not hurry yet everything is accomplished. Lao Tzu

Nature always will choose the path of least resistance or effort. In yoga we learn to not muscle tuniversehrough a pose with force, we relax and surrender into the pose finding our energetic strength and softening around it. In life, we sometimes fight what comes easiest with the thought that if it comes easy, it’s not worthy, or not the best choice. That whatever has come your way, doesn’t look exactly the way you wanted it to, so you let it pass by.

Take three long deep breaths here…relax and surrender to the flow of the universe. Allow the universe to work for you. Accept people, and circumstances that come your way.  Let the universe work in your favor. Move towards what you want, but notice the opportunities that come.

Have The Day You Have

We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. – Joseph Campbell

“Have the day you have” quote (by Peter Hedges or Ahmet Zappa not sure at this point) taken from the movie trailer of the Odd Life of Timothy Green in response, after saying, “Have a great day” is too much pressure!

Sometimes the best gifts are the ones we don’t plan. Sometimes the gifts come with what we have perceived as failure, but the failure is really just a way of clearing out all of what doesn’t really serve us. Opening the doors for a life that can be better than expected.

The trick, I believe, is to relax in life, to go with the flow; to have dreams and goals, but to have faith that whatever comes our way, is in our best interest.

Don’t Push the River, it flows by itself. – Robin Caasdan
