Thoughts of Love, Peace, and Being Unique

When we are born, we are not given choices of traits.  There is no one asking us what specific Nationality, Race, or Religion that we would like to be.  No choices of being tall, short, or of having a rich family. No choices of whether we want to be artistic, athletic, intuitive, analytical or any number of other characteristics. Yet we treat ourselves and each other as if we did.  We are all unique and we should love ourselves and each other for that reason alone.  There are many things the world would not have if everyone was like me,… which is a relief, that in our differences, we don’t have to be everything.

Sometimes people treat others as if they had a choice. Sometimes we dwell on why our life is harder, because of the choices we didn’t have. And, sometimes we forget that we have choices now. We can choose love,   peace, compassion, and understanding.  We can’t change whether we are tall or short, as well as many other traits that we are born with,  but we can choose to use the traits that we have, and make the best of it.   Choose to use your unique gifts and create your perfect life.

Scattered thoughts… Indecision

Indecision may or may not be my problem.  Jimmy Buffett

Indecision – stops you.  You can get to where you want to go, but only if you know where your going.  Vacillating back and forth, wavering,…thinking, thinking, thinking, is not going to take you anywhere.  You must take action!

If you read my last post, you will remember that there are a number of moves, that can get you where you want to go.  So don’t put so much weight on the perfect thought out plan, most likely, things are going to change throughout your journey.  What you need to remember is where you want to go, and keep making your decisions from that basis.  Is this choice going to lead me where I want to go. If the answer is yes, then head in that direction, if the answer is no, unless your changing your goal or dream – don’t follow that path.  Do make a plan, just don’t delay taking action because every step is not guaranteed.

Guarantee’s, sometimes, keep us from taking that first step, or following through with the next move.  We sometimes feel if we had a guarantee that our dream will work, and a definite step by step plan to follow, then we would proceed; but because our dreams don’t have guarantees, sometimes we fail to make our move.  Our only guarantee is this moment right now, so the question becomes, how do you want to live your life now?

Want to Change Your Life – Be Ready!

When you want your life to change and you take the time to form the ideas, thoughts, and pictures of what you want – take hold; be ready for your life to change!  Life truly forms into what you’re thinking and believing will happen; Be careful… Be Clear!

My life started changing so fast that I almost didn’t recognize the good that was before me. I started feeling uncomfortable, and a little irritated.  What’s going on? I wondered.  Is this a sign that something isn’t right?  Where is this perfect life that I dreamed of?  It wasn’t until I sat still for a moment, that I realized, that I had 90% of what I had dreamed. The uncomfortable feeling was from the change itself, and from the fact, that my life wasn’t in the same package as I had pictured.  I realized that what I had craved in creating my “just right” life, was more about feelings.  Feelings of peace, and love, and of being adored; And –  I have that.  I wanted to write, and I have the time and ability to write.  I wanted a new life, and since I’ve transplanted myself 700 miles away, to South Florida, I can also definitely say – I have that. This change however usually comes with the cost of losing something else, and at first can feel a little uncomfortable, but its a necessary part of getting what you want.

More simply, yesterday after weeks of desiring a new phone, I accidentally spilled a drink on mine, rendering it useless. I now have what I wanted, a phone which will help me with my GoldilocksBlog, Twitter, Facebook, and other social networking sites, and ultimately to having more of the life I’m creating.  I felt uncomfortable. I didn’t want to spend the money on the replacement, and felt guilty for doing so. Life left me no choice.

A friend of a friend wanted to move back to her home in Kentucky. She was laid off at her current location, but transfered to Kentucky. Now her and her husband live in different locations…

Acknowledge the existence of what you asked for with gratitude – recognize the good, and keep creating your “just right” life; give yourself time, and allow the divine universe bring you the rest.
