Changing your Life-Let Go-Give in

Are you pushing, pulling, squeezing, stretching, and trying to manipulate a certain outcome, and while you’re waiting for this outcome, does time seem to stand still.  When fear pops in, do you stop trying to make things happen, and then watch, as time flies by.

Never stop trying, but “let go” – to whatever your trying to accomplish – give it time. Time to marinate, and season into the perfect form for you. Keep living the life that you want. Believe that everything will work out in your favor. Believe that you already have the life that you want, and let the rest fall into place. Give in to time, give in to life, give in to the outcome. Let your life unfold, stay curious and open to the opportunities that show up for you…  What happens may be better than you dreamed.

“If we had all the answers, then we wouldn’t need to write our own story.” Mike

Life brings changes… some good, some bad, some totally unexpected.  A year ago my plans of what my life would be like right now, are so much different than the reality of what is.  Many of us are going through major transitions right now; children starting school, children going off to college, becoming an empty nester, divorce, marriage, job loss, foreclosures, bankruptcy, etc.  Some of us may be going through two or three of these. Some of the changes are good and are a necessary progression in life, and even those transitions can feel challenging at times. The trick as “my man” Mike reminds me, is that we have to continue to write our own story.  To face the challenges, and to create our own positive spin.  Every dark cloud, every obstacle, every transition, can be turned into something better than you could ever of imagined.  As the challenges and transitions have come, so does the good.  Focus on what opportunities you now have during this an every transition that comes your way. Remember to keep adapting, rewriting your story as you go,  keeping the focus on your “just right” life, the life that is perfect for you.

True Beauty

Yesterday I couldn’t wait to slice up some of the most perfect and beautiful strawberries that I’d have ever seen.  Every strawberry in the carton was perfect; large, red, and perfectly shaped with the greenest and healthiest caps, stems, and leaves attached.  And, as I sliced each strawberry into half, displaying its internal structure, one after another my disappointment grew.  The strawberries were mostly white; I bravely took a bite. Yes, I had definitely been duped by its packaging.

I’ve also fallen victim to people with pretty packaging, and have noticed that a lot of people have done all of the work on the outside of themselves, can be pretty blank on the inside; and also like strawberries, people who have totally let them selves go on the outside, are also usually decaying on the inside as well.  Then there is the ever perfect organic strawberry, with a little more time and effort may or may not be the largest or the most perfectly shaped, but in it’s own authentic way, is both beautiful on the inside and out.

Must remember to stay organic! Just a thought…
