Keep Showing Up

You’re the answer – change can only come from you – doing things differently; reacting to situations in a new way, physically changing a daily pattern, and by consciously being aware of all the things around you that are good.  Then you need to do it again, and again, and again.

It’s up to you, and there is know one better suited for the job.  You’re the CEO of your life. So lead the way, start making the changes, and keep showing up, again, and again.

Just a thought…

…On Having a Really Good Day!

TEDxSF – Louie Schwartzberg – Gratitude – YouTube

“….You think this is just another day in your life, it’s not just another day, it’s the one day that has been given to you today.  It’s given to you, its a gift, it’s the only gift you have right now, and the only appropriate response is gratefulness.  If you do nothing else but to cultivate that response to the great gift that this day is. If you learn to respond as if it’s the first day and the very last day then you will have spent this day very well.  Begin by opening up you eyes and be suprise that you have eyes that you can open.  That incredible area of colors that is constantly being offered to us. For our pure enjoyment.  Look at the sky. Surreally look at the sky at how different it is from moment to moment. Think of the weather and the many nuances of the weather….it will never be the same.  Look at the faces of people. Each one has an incredible story behind their face. Story that you could never fully fathom – not only their own story, but the story of their ancestors…all the people who meet flow together like life giving water.  …These are just a few of an enormous number of gift that we can open heart. So I wish you will open your heart to all these blessings and let them flow through you. That everyone you meet on this day will be blessed by you. Just by your eyes, by your smile, by your touch, just by your presence.Let the gratefulness overflow into blessing all around you from you. Then it really will be a good day.”

Happy Labor Day

Today’s the day the nation plays tribute to the worker,…the employed.  A day for “the people” to celebrate and be appreciated for a job well done… and in my opinion a day to celebrate all who  also labor without pay. i.e. the housewife, the generous neighbor, the good samaritan, etc.

May we all “the people” be appreciated for what we do…

Cheers to us!  Happy Labor Day!
