Yesterday I was doing some research into making my dream a reality, and I began looking into the Peace Corps and ran across a blog written by Adam Kelley a Peace Corp Volunteer, currently serving in Uganda. His blog is extremely entertaining and interesting to read, and something he wrote really struck a cord with me. He said “We don’t all have to be the same (language, appearance, education, morals) to come together. In fact, coming together with differences is the only authentic way to unite. If the same, there is no need to unite because we already are “one.””
So let us focus on celebrating our differences, and our own uniqueness!
