Today many feel is a very auspicious day. Being favorable and conducive for success in all matters. Whatever your thoughts and viewpoints for the day are, I hope you feel a little magic in the air, and hopeful for the many positive possibilities. It’s also a great day to start, if you haven’t already, to put your shine on, and follow in your own path. Give yourself today and all days forward, all the things you wish others would give to you – Nurture, Love, Praise, Rest, Approval – whatever you need. Do what your heart is calling you to do. Then today will truly be auspicious,… setting yourself up for a lifetime.

No Matter What

You need to make the changes, and do the work, to be happy no matter what’s going on in your life. It’s easy to be happy when things are going your way. At some point, you need to start, you can’t keep waiting for something, or someone else to change your life. Learning to be happy no matter what – This, I think would be the ultimate success, better than winning the lottery

On the way to this success we may have needed to suffer a little, to become the diamond that we are meant to be. We may have needed the experience, to open the doors for something better, for the goodness that is coming our way… Find the good in every situation.

You will truly have a great life, when you can be happy no matter what.

I think I can, I think I can, so said the Little Engine that Could.

Getting ready includes believing that you not only can, but in some way that you not only have, but that it’s already yours. Prepare for the good that you know is coming your way.

What you believe always comes before what happens. If you want the best, but only hope for the average, you will end up with less than average results. Choose to believe the best of what’s possible and prepare for that. Get ready…I think you can.

Failure gets a bad rap!

Why are we afraid of failure, and why don’t we think of failure as positive? Didn’t Thomas Edison say “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Isn’t failure our greatest teacher, so shouldn’t it be celebrated? Shouldn’t we celebrate people who have tried and failed, encouraging them to keep going; encouraging them to try a different angle, to look for a different solution, or to completely regroup and to go down a different path, but always…, to keep going!

So let’s look at failure as Thomas Edison does and not be afraid to try something, or get down because something didn’t work – lets celebrate, and look at it as a gift. A gift – of what not to do, and see it as bringing us one step closer to living our perfect lives.

As for me, I am going to consider myself a huge success, because I know a million things - not to do

Lessons of the Journey

In every attempt of love, and success at any endeavor, we learn. We become closer to what it is that we want. Always remind yourself that this attempt has brought you closer to your goal. Weeding out what not to do. Always consider your attempts a success for this very reason. Never give up on your dream. Readjust, reevaluate, leave yourself open, and try again.

Not trying, may feel like we are protecting ourselves, and by protecting ourselves we may feel like we have won that battle. The truth is however, that we end up losing the war - of never having a totally fulfilling life.

So remember – what may seem like a failure, is really a stepping stone, bringing you closer to your perfect life.

I want to live to be 100. I am always mindful of this as I urge myself to eat better, exercise, and to financially prepare. This extended image of life gives me the feeling that I have plenty of time to do all the things that I want to do. However preparation and time do not always insure success, as many have felt in this economy, and in accidents or incidents that knock us to our knees. So live the life you want today!
