It wasn’t until I let go of the out come, that what I had been working so hard to create, came flowing into my life.  The first few times this happened, my letting go of the outcome, was a little like giving up. That was the beginning of my lesson. I’ve since learned, not to give up, but to surrender to the flow of life.  Believing that every experience is part of our process to becoming the people we are meant to be. If a particular route is not working out, I relax, knowing that a better route will come around. When I’ve relaxed and surrendered to the flow, I reach the place I want to go sooner, and in a peaceful way.  I stay focused on what I’m grateful for in my life, and I smile knowing that my experiences are all working for my benefit.

This week I’ve been taking Oprah’s Life Class, which I’m thoroughly enjoying. I have a hunger about life. Always trying to figure out how to make my life, my friends and families lives, the lives of everyone I meet, and for that matter the lives of everyone in the world…I want to make them all better, no make that perfect.  I want us all to live perfect lives in a perfect world!

I’m not sure how to unscramble what we have already created, but believe if everyone of us lived our truth, comeing from a place of love, and compassion, that it would work out for the greater good of us all.  If we lived free of our egos by not worrying about outcomes or judgements, we would receive what we ultimately want – peace, joy, harmony, and freedom to pursue what our soul is calling us to do. I believe that the world would function perfectly, yes, I said it,…perfectly. LOL yes, that’s my perfect world scenario.

Since, however, we live in a world where everyone doesn’t believe, the best we can do, is be our best. Follow your passion, live your dream, remind yourself to live from a place of love for yourself and for others. Keep yourself/ego in check – I mean,…what is more valuable, the shiny new car, or spending time with your love ones. Spread Love, how valuable is that! Then we will be living our own perfect lives, and I have hope, that in time, it will spread all over the world – where we will all live in the light.

Some players get down, frustrated about [...]]]> I didn’t realize how much youth baseball was a rehearsal for adult life.  Its not always fair… The calls don’t always go your way. Some people cheat. Some – even though its legal – steal. Sometimes people on your team, those who you can always count on, mess up. Some players get down, frustrated about things they can’t control – like whether it’s their error, a team members error, or one of those bad calls; and while their head is occupied with those thoughts, it messes up what they can control.

Sometimes the game is taken way too serious.

Most of the time a player will play to your expectations.

Like youth baseball, in our adult lives, if you break down every time things don’t go our way, you risk becoming stuck on the “its not fair” mantra and forget to keep on living.  Control what you can and keep doing better, keep on trying, keep on showing up for yourself, for your team/family, for those around you, and hope that they do the same. Life on the team will be so much more enjoyable and I guarantee that you would have more success, if you just let it go – let it be – forget about it, and do your best. Smile and keep playing the game – have fun – enjoy the moment your in. Not the moment that has passed, or the moment that’s to come – enjoy the moment you have now.

What move will you make next.  What seed will you plant. What will you feed the seed, the idea, that will grow into your future. Will you plant it in the most healthiest natural fertile soil, and feed it clean pure water. Will you nurture the seed, pull the weeds, and care for it to help it grow. Do you see the seed growing taller, becoming into what you’ve invisioned. 

Every endeavor starts with a thought, an idea, a beginning. As the idea grows, and a few weeds pop – up we have to regroup, adapt, rethink, but continue to grow, or replant, nurture, take rest, or whatever is needed for the long goal, the ultimate destination – your perfect life. 

So what does that life look like, and what choices will you make on this new day, to start living that life now.

Think about how you can help someone else, or learn to speak another language, or play a musical instrument, fly fish your favorite river, hike a mountain, walk on the beach, start your own business, or focus on anything from your bucket list.    

Create your happy future, start in your mind, and with your words.
